Generally known to be a very down-to-earth person, actress Vidya Balan surprised onlookers when she threw a fit on the sets of her film Kismet Connection.Vidya refused to wear the clothes designed for her by Aki Narula, leading to a huge drama on the sets of the film. It is believed that Vidya hated the costumes designed by Aki so much that she even flung aside one of the dresses angrily on the sets. Aki, who is at his wit's end, is believed to have opted out of the film as he could not cope with Vidya's demands. Apparently Vidya had earlier gone on record to say that she was a fan of Aki's and then she suddenly starting finding fault with his designs. She felt they did not suit her image in the movie. This, despite the fact that Aki followed the brief that was given to him for the movie. According to sources, someone from the unit told the actress that she was not looking as glamorous as she was supposed to because of Aki's clothes. Of course, none of the parties are available for comments.
